You’ll enjoy unlimited tastings from the 40+ vendors, along with all of the local wines and microbrews you could wish for. This neighborhood celebration, held this year on September 14th at 7:00 p.m., also serves as a fundraiser for maintaining the Union Square Park and sponsoring its community events.
The annual Feast of San Gennaro takes over Little Italy for a full 11 days of authentic Italian food and exciting entertainment from September 14th through September 24th. One of NYC’s favorite fall events, this annual celebration takes you to a number of touristy places in Little Italy that are surprisingly good, offering fabulous Italian dishes, colorful parades, free musical entertainment, and the impressive – and delicious – cannoli eating competition!
What screams fall more than pumpkins? This annual fall event at the New York Botanical Garden brings together enormous pumpkins from all around the country – many weighing over a ton – set up for your viewing and photo-taking pleasure on the weekend of Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd. While you’re there, you can also explore the various indoor and outdoor garden displays, find resources for plants, and get answers to your own gardening questions.
Fall in NYC is the perfect time to celebrate the joys of the harvest – including freshly crafted cider!
